Opportunities to perform
Examinations
UKAdance is an awarding organisation validated by the CDMT.
Students follow the UKAdance syllabus and can be entered for a wide range of Grade and Medal Tests when they have reached the appropriate standard.
Following a regulated structured syllabus gives dancers a base from which to develop their skills and technique at a measured pace.
All pupils are encouraged to participate in performance awards as they are designed to build confidence, reward achievement and provide independent feedback. Exam sessions are held,
on average, twice a year.

Displays
Our dance classes have been part of the Kinmylies, Muirtown and wider Inverness community for more than 20 years and we have always been grateful for the support and encouragement we have received.
We are regularly invited to give dance demonstrations at local Charity Events and Christmas Fairs such as, Strictly Inverness - Highland Hospice, Tesco Community Fair and Charleston Gala Day. These community based performance events develop good team spirit and valuable performance skills.
All pupils are able to take part as we provide quality costumes from our Wardrobe at no charge, and have a fund for subsidising purchases.
Parents and students should understand that if they agree to participate they are committed to attending all rehearsals and the event itself.
